The appointment session type code in the NAPAAWL DC is used to assign the group session indicator.

Records with a value of 'GRP' for the appointment session type code will be assigned a value of 1 for the group session indicator. All other records will be assigned a value of 2 for the group session indicator.

Comments:Help on this termAn interaction between a clinician and a non-admitted patient can be in a group setting with multiple patients but may not always be a non-admitted patient service event.
