Guide for use: | Potentially preventable deaths are those amenable to screening and primary prevention, such as immunisation. CODE 1 Yes if one of the codes represented below. Preventable deaths as specified by the following ICD-10 codes with applicable age groups in brackets. If no age group is specified, all deaths of individuals aged between 0 and 74 years are included: A00-A09, A50-A64, B15-B24, C00-C16, C22, C33-C34, C62, C69, D50-D53, half of deaths attributed to E10-E14, F10-F16, F18-F19, half of deaths attributed to I20-I25, I26, I42.6, half of deaths attributed to I60-I69, I71, I80.2, J10, J12, J21, J40-J44 (45-74 years), K29.2, K70, K73-K74, M02.3, M86, M89, N34.1, N70-N73, N75.0-N75.1, N76.4, N76.6, O00-O99, V01-V04, V06, V09-V80, V87, V89, V99, W00-W19, W65-W74, X00-X09, X40-X49, X60-X84, X85-Y09, Y10-Y34, Y36, Y60-Y69, Y70-Y82, Y83-Y84, Y87.0-Y87.1, and A35-A37, A49.1, A49.2, A80, B01, B05-B06, J11 (0-14 years only for this last group).
