|Guide for use:|
The AHNIPA &CS NBPDS helps guide the standardisation of allied health data.
This data set defines the amount of time spent per day by each allied health service provider on NIPA and CSA.
The following glossary items are used within this data set:
Allied health service provider
Non-Individual Patient Attributable (NIPA) Activities
Clinical Support Activities (CSA):
Clinical Services Management (CSM)
Data can be collected by each jurisdiction though patient administration and other allied health clinical and activity reporting systems where applicable.
Jurisdictions are responsible for the collation of data at regular intervals to inform service provision.
It is anticipated that the AHNIPA&CSA NBPDS guides the standardisation of allied health data with the future intention of developing a national minimum data set or inclusion within other national minimum data sets.
