Collection methods: | The appointment session type code in the NAPAAWL DC is used to derive the group session indicator. Records with a value of GRP for the appointment session type code will be assigned a value of 1 for the group session indicator. All other records will be assigned a value of 2 for the group session indicator. |
Comments: | An interaction between a clinician and a non-admitted patient can be in a group setting with multiple patients but may not necessarily meet the criteria for a non-admitted patient service event. |
