Computation description:![]() | Count of regular clients who are Indigenous, aged 25 years and over and who have had their BMI classified as overweight or obese within the previous 24 months. ‘Regular client’ refers to a client of an OATSIH-funded primary health care service (that is required to report against the Indigenous primary health care key performance indicators) who has an active medical record; that is, a client who has attended the OATSIH-funded primary health care service at least 3 times in 2 years. Body mass index (BMI): A measure of an adult's weight (body mass) relative to height, used to assess the extent of weight deficit or excess where height and weight have been measured. Body mass index is the weight in kilograms divided by the square of the height in metres (WHO 2000). Presented as a number. Calculated separately for overweight and obese classifications. If the client has had their BMI recorded more than once in the last 24 months, only the most recently recorded result is included in this calculation. |
