The Provider professional board cluster includes data elements that define information on the name of the organisation that manages the registration of the individual service provider and the provider's identifier number.
In Australia the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and National Boards are responsible for regulating the following health professions: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practitioners, Chinese medicine practitioners, chiropractors, dental practitioners, medical practitioners, medical radiation practitioners, nurses and midwives, occupational therapists, optometrists, osteopaths, pharmacists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, and psychologists.
