CODE 1   ON EXTENDED LEAVE (3 MONTHS OR MORE)

The person is on a period of leave from their place of employment for three months or more. The person may be starting their extended leave or they may be part-way through their extended leave.

 

CODE 2   NOT ON EXTENDED LEAVE

The person is not on a period of leave for three months or more. They may be working or they may be on short-term leave of less than three months.
