The Order Types file cluster links the youth justice orders available in jurisdictions with the national order categories.

Guide for use:Help on this term

This file is used to observe the types of orders that were administered by each state and territory’s youth justice system. This file contains information on the jurisdiction-specific order types and their corresponding order type—national code. It also provides information on the reporting period relating to each code.

The Order type is a jurisdictionally-specific legal order or arrangement that has resulted in the supervision of the young person by the youth justice agency. A young person may be supervised as the result of multiple legal arrangements - each of these constitutes a separate order period.
