Description:![]() | The 2017–18 National Health Survey (NHS) was conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) from July 2017 to June 2018. Approximately 21,000 people from over 16,000 private dwellings were included. One adult (aged 18 years or over) and one child (0–17 years, where applicable) for each sampled dwelling were included in the survey. The survey was designed to collect a range of information about the health of Australians, including prevalence of long-term health conditions, health risk factors, use of health services, and demographic and socioeconomic characteristics. |
