Development rules
Indicate the maximum number of characters permitted to be stored. For items that are of data type String, the maximum character quantity represents a count of all alphabetic, numeric and other ASCII characters (including full stops, forward slash, back slash and hyphens).
For example the String YYYY-YY contains a maximum of 7 characters.
For items that are of data type Number, the maximum character quantity represents a count of all numeric characters only (excluding characters such as plus, minus and decimal points). If the value domain contains a decimal point specify the number of decimal places permitted through the unit of measure precision field.
For example the Number 3.142 contains a maximum of 4 characters.
