Computation description: | Proportion of Indigenous babies born within the previous 12 months who attended the funded organisation more than once, and whose birthweight result was:
Presented as a percentage. Birthweight: defined as the first weight of a baby obtained after birth. Include only live births. Exclude unknown birthweight. The birthweight is to be taken from the baby’s client record where available. Where the birthweight is not recorded in the baby’s client record, the mother’s record may be used as a source of birth details. The weight recorded must be the baby’s weight at birth. Attended the organisation more than once: count attendance using the baby’s client record only. Exclude babies who only attended before birth as part of the mother’s antenatal care. Previous 12 months: refers to the previous financial year or previous calendar year. Include: results arising from measurements conducted outside of the organisation that are known by the organisation. For example, birthweight recorded in the baby’s medical record at the organisation, or received from sharing client data with other organisations, such as a hospital. |

Calculation C: Number of Indigenous babies born within the previous 12 months who attended the funded organisation more than once, and whose birthweight result was categorised as high (4,500 grams and over). |
