Collection and usage attributes

National reporting arrangement:Help on this term

Each organisation funded by the Australian Government Department of Health that is required to provide data to the nKPIs should record service provision in clinical information management systems that allow the electronic transmission of data for the Indigenous-specific primary health care national Key Performance Indicators (nKPI) NBEDS (ISPHC nKPI NBEDS), to be used in the calculation of the indicators. Exceptions may be made for services that do not have compatible clinical information management systems to manually upload data.

Reporting organisations submit nKPI data twice a year, with census dates of 30 June and 31 December.

Submission is done through the Health Data Portal.
