The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare is committed to making its findings available to the whole community, and we aim to make the METeOR website accessible to all people.
The aim for this site is that HTML pages will comply as far as possible with the Priority 2 checkpoints of the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). These standards are endorsed by Australia's Government Online initiative.
We encourage anyone who experiences difficulties accessing information on our site to contact the METeOR adminstrator.
In these cases arrangements will be made to provide the information in an alternative format.
This web site also contains facilities for authoring metadata standards. At this stage, not all aspects of the authoring interface meet W3C Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines, due to the rich interactive user experience that has been developed.
Please contact us to make alternative arrangements for contributing to the development of new metadata standards if this interface fails to meet your specific accessibility needs.
