|Guide for use:|
Residential care and family group homes are not included in the scope of carers in the Carer household authorisation file.
Each change in Carer household authorisation/registration status will be a new line in the file, delineated by an authorisation start and end date. Renewal of an existing authorisation as part of a standard ongoing review process or a change from provisional to full authorisation are not deemed to be a change in authorisation status and should not be recorded on a new line. The original authorisation start date should be retained.
