Guide for use: | Record the type of late effect the person with cancer experiences that is related to the cancer and/or cancer treatment. This item can be recorded multiple times for multiple late effects, but only one late effect should be recorded in each instance of this item. This excludes issues relating to the recurrence of cancer or progression of the disease. This may be as a result of the treatment, the disease process, or both. Examples of late effects relating to cancer are infertility, hyperthyroidism, scoliosis, cognitive impairment and congestive heart failure. |
