Events occurring in residential aged care defined by a place of occurrence code of Y92.14 (Aged Care Facility). Only includes in the numerator those separations where the ICD-10-AM code for the principal diagnosis is in the range of S00–T14 (inclusive). Analysis by state and territory is based on location of service. Analysis by remoteness and SEIFA Index of Relative Socioeconomic Disadvantage (IRSD) is based on usual residence of person.
