Guide for use:

A child is defined as having attended preschool if they attended at least once within the census week. Children who were absent during the census week due to illness or extended holiday leave should not be included.


 

Collection methods:

In order for a child to be actually attending preschool, he or she must attend a preschool program at least once within the census week. Each child is only counted once for the purposes of capturing the number of preschool attendances within the census week.
