CODE 1   Pap smear

A pap smear refers to a screening test for cervical cancer, which is carried out by a medical professional. During a Pap test, cells are collected from the surface of the cervix, transferred onto a slide or into a special liquid, and sent to a pathology laboratory for assessment.

CODE 2   Mammogram

A mammogram refers to a screening test for breast cancer, which is carried out by a medical professional. A mammogram is the process of using low-energy-X-rays to examine the breast.
