Guide for use: | This data element is used to determine a non-admitted patient service event. All codes in the value domain are in the scope of a non-admitted patient service event, with the exception of NCE (Non-Client Event / Chart Only). Non-Client Event / Chart Only refers to an appointment time that a clinician has set aside to review a patient's chart, without the patient being present. This type of appointment does not meet the criteria for a non-admitted patient service event since there is no interaction between the clinician and the patient. |
