The percentage of emergency department patients, who either physically leave the emergency department for admission to hospital, are referred for treatment or are discharged, whose total time in emergency department is within four hours of presentation.

  • include 'did not wait' and 'dead on arrival' records.
  • exclude records if the Waiting time to service is invalid.
