|Guide for use:|
This metadata item should always be recorded as an 8-digit valid date comprising day, month and year. Year should always be recorded in its full 4-digit format. For days and months with a numeric value of less than 10, zeros should be used to ensure that the date contains the required 8 digits. For example if a person received assistance from an agency on 1 July 2000 the Assistance receipt date should be recorded as 01072000 as specified in the representational layout.
The date recorded should reflect the date on which the client received any type of assistance. Where a client receives more than one occasion of service on the same day, the agency should separately record each occasion of service against the same date.
