To apply for METeOR metadata developer status, you will need to provide details about the development activities that you plan to undertake. In particular information is needed on the purpose and scope of the development work and some contact information. This will help the webmaster and registrars provide you with the relevant help and support.
To apply, you will need to provide the following details to the webmaster: name, contact phone number, agency/organisation affiliation, project (development activity or group) and scope of metadata to be developed. This information will only be made available to the webmaster and appropriate metadata registrars as per our privacy policy. The webmaster or registrar may contact you for further information on your application.
Once your application is approved, the webmaster will establish a metadata developer profile for you on METeOR. As appropriate, the webmaster will then set up a new workgroup for your project or refer your application to the lead developer on a project if you are applying to join an existing project workgroup.
