Residential aged care includes Multi-Purpose Services and places delivered under the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care and Innovative Care Programs. Community aged care includes Community Aged Care Packages (CACP), Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH), EACH Dementia, Transition Care Program, Multi-Purpose Services and packages delivered under the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Strategy and Innovative Care Pool. Presented per 1,000 population. |

Comments: | Most recent data available for 2012 CRC report: 2010–11. DoHA population projections: DoHA projections of the total population are based on the 2006 Census. These projections were prepared (at SLA level) for DoHA by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) according to assumptions agreed to by DoHA. DoHA Indigenous population projections were prepared from ABS Indigenous Experimental 2006 ERP data (at SLA level) projected forward so as to align with published ABS Indigenous Experimental Estimates and Projections (ABS cat. no. 3238.0, series B) at the state and national level. DoHA projections by remoteness areas are prepared by summing SLA projections to Remoteness Areas. |
