LOS (post-natal) = mother's Separation date - baby's Date of birth

Formula for the baby:

LOS (post-natal) = baby's Separation date - baby's Date of birth

Both calculations are inclusive of those dates and any leave days are included.

Excludes transfers, home births and other non-hospital births.

Total contracted days are included in the length of stay.
